Having patience will reward you with shiny and healthy hair. Do not get accustomed to always using the same brand of shampoo or conditioner. By altering the brands that are being used on a semi-regular basis, your hair will be jolted into a positive reaction. Another brand may remove all the buildup and keep your scalp clean and healthy. Use a gentle shampoo which will clean your hair but not strip the oils. Some people also just use conditioner about one or two times every week. These can be used to clear the chlorine from your hair. Hair products which have alcohol in them should not be used, as they can cause your hair to get dry over time.
